About
Hello, and thanks for visiting my website! My name is Anne Zachry and I am a pediatric occupational therapist, parenting expert, freelance writer, and child development specialist. I have a B.S. in occupational therapy from the University of Tennessee, a M.S. in Leadership and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Memphis. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings providing therapy to children and support to their families. I’ve had research articles published in The American Journal of Occupational Therapy, The Southern Medical Journal, and The Occupational Therapy Journal of Research. I’ve also had articles published in my professions trade magazines, OT Practice and Advance. I am currently writing for DailyOM.com, and my literary agent, Michele Martin with MDM Management @ michele@mdm-management.com represents my book, The Tummy Time Play and Activity Book: 100 Entertaining Ways to Help Your Infant Master Developmental Milestones. One of my most gratifying endeavors is my job as pediatric occupational therapist in the school system. I work with students who have issues ranging from mild fine motor problems to severe physical disabilities. The children are all so wonderful. I truly look forward to going to work every day! Most importantly, I’m the mother of three wonderful children, Justin, Emily, and Hanna, and I’ve been married to Michael Zachry for 17 amazing years. It is my hope that the information provided in this website will help Moms and Dads gain insight and learn practices that will lead to happy, healthy children.
